Hello Possums!

How are you?  Anyone out there?

No, its not Dame Edna Everedge but feeling in a particularly light hearted mood and thought I'd share it.  Not sure why but just loving the weather and its been a good week so far.  Plus, possums are nocturnal animals...a bit like us movie goers.

Last months movie "Amy" was anything but cheerful but the documentary did show her good sense of humour and goofy side but of course it was a tragedy. Still I was glad I went and learnt more about her and how talented she was.

This month, depending on the weather, I propose we go to

Open Air Kino in Fribourg and see "The Theory of Everything" which won Oscars.  It is a late start at 21:15 but hopefully some of you are also nocturnal and keen to see it.  If not then please feel free just to meet for dinner.  If the weather doesn't look good then we can just have a meal and not go to the movie.

Coop Supercard should be used to buy the tickets as they will only be 12.00 chf rather than 16.00 chf. (so the website says).

You might want to bring an extra cushion for the seat as can be a bit hard but it is a special evening and great location.

"The Theory of Everything"

Movie & Storyline
The Theory of Everything is the story of the most brilliant and celebrated physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking, and Jane Wilde the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s. Little was expected from Stephen Hawking, a bright but shiftless student of cosmology, given just two years to live following the diagnosis of a fatal illness at 21 years of age. He became galvanized, however, by the love of fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde, and he went on to be called the successor to Einstein, as well as a husband and father to their three children. Over the course of their marriage as Stephen's body collapsed and his academic renown soared, fault lines were exposed that tested the lineaments of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both of their lives.
